Le processus créatif de la commande d'oeuvre d'art dans l'espace urbain

Valérie Mréjen will show an artwork during the exhibition Le territoire à l'oeuvre at gallery Fernand Léger in Ivry-sur-Seine from 23th September to 17th December 2016.
The city of Ivry-sur-Seine, through the Fernand Léger gallery and the National Centre for Visual Arts-Cnap combine together to make this exhibition that explores, in all its diversity, the creative process of artistic public procruement in urban space through the collection of Cnap's studies and models, from 1980's to present.
From nearly 170 models and studies'elements, the exhibition presents the changes that have marked integration of the work of art in the city since the establishment of the fund of public procurement, in the early 1980's. Echoing the policies of the City of Ivry-sur-Seine in this area, this issue is discussed using examples from throughout the national territory, with french artists as international.
