The third edition of the allons voir ! contemporary art trail, which is being developed in several communes in the north of the Cher department, has been enriched by opening up to the Sancerrois region: a new pyramidal barn, that of Récy, has been added to those of the Pays Fort as an exhibition site. Emblematic of this small territory, these impressive 16th century buildings evoke the life of our countryside over the centuries. Other rural sites, silos or wine cellars, representative of the contemporary evolution of farms, are added. Under the impulse of a curator renewed every year, artists are invited to dialogue with these places of the everyday life, and make us discover them under a new light. As a local cultural project, allons voir ! calls upon the collaboration of the population: owners of the buildings who make them available, inhabitants who host the artists, or local craftsmen who accompany the artists in the realization or the assembly of the works. Through its partnerships with ENSA Bourges and ESAD TALM Tours, allons voir ! also wants to support the emerging regional creation by inviting young graduates to participate in the event.
