The FRAC Champagne-Ardenne inaugurates a large group exhibition dedicated to "Mont Analogue" by the Reims-based author René Daumal. Combining art and literature, this project proposes to celebrate the influence of René Daumal on the artists of his time and today. Daumal's work - and in particular his last book, le Mont Analogue - has inspired cinema and visual arts, photography and dance, literature and poetry.
Conceived as an expedition, the exhibition takes up the major themes of the book: poetic community, collective and universal faith, elevation to an intimate and secret summit. Carried by Daumal's narrative and the intimate readings of the invited artists, the exhibition invites visitors to find within themselves this access to Mount Analogue.
