Ever since rue Duverger became a dead end, just like the Joliette district where incessant building work has been in full swing for several years now, with mechanical noises and buildings falling down and then rising again, the movement has not stopped. And what was thought to be a dead-end street turns out to be an anthill that turns the situation on its head.
For this new exhibition, the TCHIKEBE studio is inviting its neighbouring artists to "break the deadlock" and join them in rethinking our links with these places that form the basis of our shared, everyday landscape.
With unique works (drawings, paintings, photographs, installations) and original editions by Berdaguer & Péjus, Anne-Valérie Gasc, Chourouk Hriech, Carlos Kusnir and Karine Rougier.
Chourouk Hriech, Vous m'aviez manqué... #2, 2022, gouache on canvas, 140 x 175 cm.
