Élise Péroi creates landscapes of threads on her loom. Inspired by this traditional technique, which requires patience and precision of gesture, she weaves in a veritable workshop choreography. Using paint on silk or gleaned plants, her textile gardens are sculpted of fullness and emptiness, shot through with breath and light.
By blending nature and architecture, Élise Péroi explores our relationship with isolation and invites us to inhabit our environment differently.
