The Salon Les Nouveaux Ensembliers, organised by Manufactures nationales - Sèvres & Mobilier national, is in keeping with the spirit of the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts, which celebrated Art Deco and the combination of luxury and functionality. Like the interior designers of the time, this first edition highlights a new generation of architects and decorators, invited to rethink spaces from an interior design perspective, combining aesthetics, contemporary uses and sustainability.
Under the theme ‘The Embassy of Tomorrow', the ten selected architects and interior designers have been given carte blanche. Their proposals reinterpret emblematic spaces – domestic, reception or diplomatic – by promoting French expertise, eco-responsibility and innovation. The exhibition thus presents coherent projects that strike a balance between tradition and modernity, while affirming the excellence of design and interior architecture as a reflection of French culture.
