A work in metamorphosis, time is the actor in the work. It's a way of letting the material express itself and invoking our rituals and emotions. Each burnt wick leaves behind a brown and iridescent trace, in memory of its transformation. ‘Veillée' refers to the candle, which has symbolised hope, eternity and light in every culture since the dawn of time. - Juliette Minchin
Participatory limited edition made in 50 wax dips with 2 wicks. The edition can be activated and modified by you. Once burnt, it can be presented in two ways: on a stand or hung on a wall.
